The global pandemic hasn’t stunted the creativity and output of indie musicians. In fact, when it comes to DIY-leaning artists who create and record their original music at home instead of in recording studios, this period of confinement has yielded a bumper crop of new material.
One such locus of local musical activity is WWNBB (We Were Never Being Boring). This loose collective of artists is headquartered in the city, but like many San Francisco favorites — cioppino and fernet, for example — WWNBB has strong ties to that place Vito Corleone called “the old country.”
