Sara Marinelli was born and raised in Italy. Besides being a music lover and a radio host, she is a writer, translator, and educator. She teaches Comparative World Literature at the University of San Francisco, and Humanities courses on Italian cities at San Francisco State University. Every month, she curates and hosts a literary reading series, the Hazel Reading Series, featuring women writers of the Bay Area.
