Tribute to Georgia
Georgia, the home of soul food, warm sunny days and cozy southern hospitality was Susanna Liso's inspiration for her Spring Summer 2014 collection.
Liso, designer of Le Tartarughe, executed a collection of deliciously colorful print knits, nostalgic silhouettes of the hippie era that rides between the mid sixties and mid seventies and endearing accessories.
Warm hues alternated with candy-lacquered tones on striped tank tops, palazzo pants and maxi skirts, while an earthy desert palette was preferred for effortless chic layering.
Details were kept simple with sweet flower hairpieces and fabric wristband watches.
Susanna Liso
The striking blonde front lady of Le Tartarughe confides in the artistic synergies that inspire her creations. After a five-year love story with Alta Roma Haute Couture week, Liso opted to change perspectives, moving fairs in Amsterdam and Paris.
With her artisanal approach to fashion, the designer has made sure to stay away from serial codes and mass production, guaranteeing high quality pieces of clothing and knitwear.
Le Tartarughe is in Via Pié di Marmo, near the Pantheon.
