Raffaella Frasca
After her stellar baptism dressing Milly Carlucci on Ballando con le Stelle, Raffaella Frasca makes her debut on the Altaroma runway with her couture 2014 collection. Her esthetic is especiallyfeminine and extravagant, finding her best expression of creativity in cocktail, evening and bridal gowns.
The Cuts and Textures
It is a collection designed for a strong and sensual woman, with mini corolla skirts that find volume with tulle petticoats, transparent organza shirts, pleats, second skin pants, lofty slits, one-shoulder necklines and bustiers. Frasca introduces a jaunty dark edge, paying special attention to detail with lace inserts, drawstrings, feathers, amber and gold metallic stones, crystals and cage belts.
The Colors
The young designer kept to an essential and coherent color palette, opting for gradual hues of greys and powdery rose, jet black and stark white. Frasca closes the show with a voluminous wedding dress of towering layered pleats. Designed for refined young women, Raffaella Frasca's collection is a feisty indulgence.
