The Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles will celebrate, in collaboration with the local partners of the “Sistema Italia” (Italian Cultural Institute, Italian Trade Agency, IACCW, ENIT), the seventy-ninth anniversary of the Italian Republic at the top of Beverly Hills, in the extraordinary setting of the prestigious residence “Casa Lago”.
The over 500 guests, mainly representatives of the Italian and Italian-American community of Los Angeles and Southern California, will be welcomed by the Consul General of Italy, Raffaella Valentini, and by the famous TV host Jimmy Kimmel, guest of honor, who will introduce the event from the stage, celebrating his Ischian roots.
The event will also include distinguished representatives of local institutions and celebrities from the world of entertainment, business, culture, science and sports. Hon. Christian Di Sanzo, Italian parliamentary representative for North and Central America, will also attend the celebration.
The institutional moment will be followed by a fashion show by the Italian clothing brand Genny, with its own boutique in Beverly Hills. Catering will be provided by Eataly, one of the main protagonists in the Italian food and wine scene in Los Angeles.
Guests will be able to accompany their meals with Aperol Spritz and Campari, or choose the Ferrari Trento bubbles and the wines offered by Gaetano d’Acquino, historic Italian wine importer in Los Angeles. Patrizia Pasqualetti will curate delicious ice creams.
Do not miss photo opportunities on new Lamborghini models, on the Tricolore Vespas and on one of the most iconic MV Augusta motorcycles.
This event is possible thanks to the contribution of numerous sponsors, including Eagle Productions, Essilor Luxottica, Florim, ITA Airways, Italian Heritage Foundation, Landi Technologies, Leonardo, Muse Capital, Panorama and K productions and also thanks to the help provided by the Little Italy of Los Angeles Association (LILAA).
In the words of Consul General Valentini: “This evening is dedicated to pride. It is dedicated to memory. It is dedicated to the enduring power of community. We celebrate the birth of a Republic, the depth of a friendship, and the spirit of a people who believe in freedom, mutual respect and working together to build a better future.”
