Pizza, pasta and subs are served at The Italian that recently opened at 924 N. Main St. in Princeton.“We always liked Princeton,” said owner Nicolina Alfano. “It is close to the train station. It is a busy area. Good people. There is a lot going on, on Main Street.”
Alfano moved the restaurant to Princeton from Walnut where it had been open for three years. Alfano decided to open in a larger location in Princeton because it is halfway between her three children living in Chicago and her son who runs a restaurant with the same name in Fort Madison, Iowa.
