Bar Verona, an intimate Italian restaurant/bar from celebrity chef Fabio Viviani, Saturday is scheduled to open the doors to its new northern Macomb County on Saturday. The 4,000-square-foot, 84-seat eatery is located on Van Dyke Avenue, north of 27 Mile Road in Washington Township. An outdoor patio will open in the spring.
It's the latest restaurant developed by Viviani, a chef-restaurateur-writer who has appeared on Bravo's "Top Chef" and other shows, after the successful launch of a larger venue in Commerce Township in Oakland County this past July. The restaurant's title is a reference to Verona, Italy, Viviani said in a news release.
