Italian gourmet grocery store Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is opening a second spot in New Jersey. The 42,000-square-foot store will be part of the Briarcliff Commons shopping center at 1711 Route 10 in Morris Plains. It’s expected to open in Fall 2021, according to a statement.
Construction has not yet begun, but it will replace a ShopRite that vacated the space several years ago after relocating to 178 East Hanover Ave. in Morristown. Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace’s only other New Jersey store is in Ramsey at 10 Triangle Plaza. It opened in 2016.
