Cleveland’s Feast of the Assumption is celebrating its 120th year in the city’s historic Little Italy neighborhood. The annual Feast, which steps off every year at Holy Rosary Church, commemorates the Virgin Mary’s ascension to heaven.
Here, Italian traditions and culture are on full display, with religious rituals, music and palate-tempting fare. The Feast, which runs from Aug. 15 to 18, attracts more than 100,000 people to Cleveland’s Mayfield Road corridor.
