There is little doubt left: Marco Zappacosta has become the new icon of the new generation of Italians in Silicon Valley. He founded his company, Thumbtack, five years ago at the age of 24. This week the news was broken that the company has received a $100 million investment led by Google Capital.
This follows another $ 50 million raised in a series of rounds, $ 30 million this May from Sequoia Capital and Tiger Global Management. Now Thumbtack is worth some $ 800 million. Bravo Marco, you make us all proud!.
