The first Climate Indicators for Italian Regions report has been released, providing a detailed map of how different regions are progressing toward climate neutrality. The report highlights Italy’s ongoing commitment to the ecological transition. This tool analyzes and compares data and best environmental practices adopted by Italian regions, helping them advance toward decarbonization.
It is based on a database featuring 26 indicators across eight thematic areas: emissions, energy, renewables, buildings, industry, transport, agriculture, and vulnerability. Additionally, original indicators provide local administrations and the public debate with a clear and updated view of challenges and the best strategies to adopt through best practices, projects, and noteworthy performances.
