Kennesaw is likely to be the new home of one of three Atlanta area Fazoli's restaurants opening in 2018, according to reports. The other likely new locations will be in Canton and Rome. The Tribune Ledger News reported that local entrepreneur Amit Patel is "extremely excited for this development opportunity... Fazoli's is a great and unique concept in the elevated quick service industry, with always fresh ingredients made to order, a devoted fan base and continuously growing brand recognition. It's an exciting time to come onboard."

Patel owns convenience stores and hotels in the Atlanta area, and said Canton was a "no-brainer" as a site for a new Fazoli's, according to the Ledger news.
