After two years, traveling has been happening again. Our first, timid attempts at normality brought us weekend adventures not far from home and, for those not far from a foreign country, perhaps even some international fun. Of course, it isn’t as simple as I make it sound, especially now, with this new variant doing the rounds and some people still unvaccinated. But you know what, by 2023, we should be ok.
Why do I mention 2023? Because that’s when the Orient Express La Dolce Vita takes its inaugural journey and, oh boy, wouldn’t I like to be on board! In this new initiative, two icons of European contemporary culture merge together: the Orient Express train and, of course, our very own 1960s idea of la dolce vita.
