The annual GOOD FRIDAY procession through the streets of Little Italy is a wonderful tradition! Join parishioners and clergy in this beautiful and moving OUTDOORS STATIONS OF THE CROSS that processes through the streets of Little Italy following the Corpus of Christ.

The stations on large boards are set up at various restaurants and residents' homes as each host reads a prayer aloud. The procession follows a 3 pm Easter service at St. Leo's Church, Baltimore.

PRETTY PALMS:The palms displayed on the main altar (pictured right) and the Palm carried by the celebrant during Palm Sunday Masses are from the Italian market in Philly. They were kindly donated by the members of the St. Anthony Society.

'MOSES' on Stage: St. Anthony Society Bus Trip, Thursday, June 12; departs St. Leo's 9:30 am. Plentiful and delicious meal at Shady Maple Smorgasbord then off to the Sight & Sound Theater in Lancaster County, PA, to watch the spectacular show 'Moses,' as the greatest biblical epic of the Old Testament comes to life! GOT BOOKS? The nonprofit Pandola Learning Center hosts a Used Book Sale during each summer Italian festival. Donate your used books to help stock Pandola's booth during the June 7-8 Feast of St. Anthony in Little Italy. Children's books are especially welcome. Drop off all books to the parish office during regular business hours. Contact Carmella Walsh 410-991-9255.

MOTHER'S DAY PARTY: St. Gabriel Society is hosting its annual Mother's Day party May 18 from 1 to 4 pm at Chiapparelli's Restaurant. Members are free (if dues are up to date); guests $25. For reservations, reply to Doreen at 410-633-6544 by May 1.
