Rochester's Italian-American community is celebrating it's 150th anniversary this year. On Saturday, the Little Italy Festival kicked off at the Marina Auto Stadium. It honors St. Anthony of Padua on his feast day weekend and features the International USL League professional soccer match, Italian tenor AAron Caruso and fantastic food.
Silvano Orsi said, "I think the Italian-American community is very important in the City of Rochester. The city was built on our backs along with the Irish and Germans. We've been here 150 years and we look forward to a 150 more."
