The Little Italy Arch has been 4 years in the making. Our first steps were to secure funding from donations from the first brick and banner sales to securing a dozen In Kind contributions to successful events at the Fundraising Gala and at Club Auto Sport.
We then had a year and a half of plans submitted to the City of San Jose from the Planning department, community meetings and a City council hearing, to numerous meetings with Public Works and Transportation, to the design meetings with the Italian community, Architect and subcontractors. and finally securing the maintenance agreement and Civil engineering and Electrical approvals.
Yes this has been a process and we want to thank all those that have helped make this a reality happening very very soon!!!
