Local Italian-American vets posts named for war dead

The names of some of the area's war dead are kept alive through the names of local veterans posts, including a pair of Italian-American veterans posts.
The post now known as DeCarlo-Staffo Post No. 8 in Little Falls got its start in 1937 when a group from the Department of New York came to Little Falls and organized a number of Italian-American World War I veterans.
