Lupino boasts impressive Italian wines at bargain prices

Italy is home to some of the oldest wine producing regions in the world. While I've not been there (it is on my bucket list) it is said that vineyards in Italy are a little like corn fields in Iowa. They are everywhere, and the smallest patch of land can have a vineyard planted on it.

From jug wines to Super Tuscans to the revered Barolo and Brunello, Italy certainly is very diversified in product offerings and price. I think I drink Italian wines almost as often as our own domestic wines and I appreciate that depending on my mood and budget I can usually find something pretty tasty.
