The undisputed high quality of the Made-in-Italy agro-food, the rediscovery of this sector by the government, the "push" by Italian sounding which, on the one hand, penalizes national excellence (snatching from Italy a turnover of over €60 billion), while, on the other, promotes food choices bearing the name of Made-in-Italy production, are the elements that contributed to the growth of domestic production in the markets.
But the Expo Milano 2015 effect played its role, the event that in these last months has experienced a super turnout. Consequently, the result is a jump in foreign sales that this year should reach the target of €36 billion. Already in the first six months, in fact, €18 million was registered.
