Igor Bertolucci, majolica expert and cinematographer, will speak at Il Cenacolo Italian Cultural Club at their Thursday luncheon this week, June 12, 2014. His topic will be: "The Art and Craft of Majolica Pottery," and will include a video presentation.

Pottery has accompanied human civilization since the dawn of time. At first used primarily as containers, in time ceramic ware became not only functional but also masterfully created works of art.
