A meatball-eating contest, a wine bar, live music and plenty of food vendors will be coming to Naper Settlement on Aug. 4 through Aug. 6 for Festa Italiana. Local eateries will serve up pizza, pasta, cannoli and other Italian delights for purchase. A wine bar will be set up to sell drinks to visitors who are 21 and over.
Kids can enjoy the festival too, with rides and fun activities at a dedicated children's area. On Saturday at 2 p.m., the Pasta Ladies will host a demonstration showing guests how to craft authentic pasta, the Italian way. The meatball-munching contest is slated for 5 p.m. on Saturday.
