Culture and cuisine always reign in San Jose’s Little Italy, but this Sunday the food and fun will spill out onto the streets and into the plazas. The party on Almaden Boulevard — the Little Italy Street Festival — is the fourth annual for this historic district. Admission is free, with hours from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Among the highlights: Local philanthropist Helen Marchese Owen will be honored as the grand marshal. And popular tenor Pasquale Esposito will take the stage at 3:45 p.m. Before and after, there’s food, wine tasting, bocce ball, arts and crafts and more live music.
