The 57th annual Memorial Mass/Ceremony for Servant of God/Medal of Honor recipient Navy Chaplain Father Vincent R. Capodanno will be offered Sunday, Sept. 1 at 10 a.m. at the Father Capodanno Memorial Chapel at Fort Wadsworth, Staten Island, NY. 

The Mass will be offered by Bishop Peter Byrne, episcopal vicar of Staten Island and pastor of Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in West Brighton. After the Mass a memorial ceremony will be held outside near his statue by the Staten Island Detachment 1 Marine Corps League Honor Guard, Rifle Squad and Bugler. Refreshments will be served.
