Chicago-based writer/director Lucia Mauro and husband/producer Joe Orlandino – the co-founders of the non-profit film organization In My Brother’s Shoes, Inc. wrapped shooting in Italy on their fourth short film, titled, Voci del diario (Entries).
The inspiring independent art film is a highly textured cinematic poem that explores the life cycle through one man – and his journal entries — at different stages: childhood, young adulthood, middle age and senior years. The live-action narrative short was shot in the Northern Italian cities of Brescia, Verona, Trento and the Dolomite Mountains.
