As the $82 million Marybelle and Sebastian P. Musco Center for the Arts approaches its grand opening Saturday, the center stands to join a growing family of buildings at Chapman University named for benefactors who helped make them a reality.

Sebastian "Paul" Musco was born to a family of Italian immigrants and later founded the Santa Ana-based company Gemini Industries, working his way into a prominent position in the precious metals industry. Gemini Industries has pioneered technology that helps recover platinum and palladium from spent catalysts.
