Michael Gulotta of MoPho (514 City Park Ave., 504-482-6845) has been named a Best New Chef by Food & Wine magazine. The group of eleven chefs were announced Monday morning on the publication's website.

Food & Wine announces the yearly winners every spring and the 2016 class will be featured in the magazine's July print issue as well as honored at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen on June 17.
