In Italy, where every cobblestone and vineyard seems to hum with romance, there is a particular path that has ensnared the hearts of wanderers for generations. And now, after a stillness that lingered for more than a decade, the whispers of old lovers, the caresses of the sea breeze, and the very soul of Italy is reawakening.
The Via dell’Amore, a name that dances on one's tongue as "Path of Love", connects the quaint villages of Riomaggiore and Manarola. Ah! The memories of 2012, when Mother Nature, perhaps jealous of the footfalls on this path, triggered a landslide. The fury of the earth rendered four innocent souls injured, urging the path to retreat and convalesce.
