The 22nd annual Mount Morris Rotary Italian Festival celebrated the community’s heritage while offering a mix of traditional and new attractions. The festival opened Friday evening with a pasta dinner featuring music by Franco Gallelli and Friends. The dinner, new to this year’s festival, had a better turnout than expected and Secretary Linda Lomnicki expressed interest in continuing the dinner next year.
“Every year we are trying to expand,” she said. Other musical performances included Terry “Elvis” Buchwald, The Moondance Band, Off the Wagon, and the Coupe De’Villes.
