Italian restaurant and food options are plenty all over Volusia County. To distinguish itself, the new Don Giovanni Contemporary Italian and Pizzeria restaurant in Port Orange plans to bring to the table the authentic, native Italian cuisine experience.
Owner Giovanni Spinosa got involved in the restaurant business in as casual a manner as possible. When he was 13 and playing soccer in his hometown of Torregaveta, Italy, a friend asked him to help at his restaurant. “One day he told me ‘do you want to come and work with me?’ And I said ‘sure,’” Spinosa said.
