GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Veteran chef Christopher Perkey is planning to open "Osteria Rossa," a new Italian-themed restaurant on the ground floor of the Kendall Building being renovated in downtown Grand Rapids.
Perkey said he plans to open the 100-seat restaurant at 16 Monroe Center NE by December. With a bar on one side and a dining room on the other, Osteria Rossa will face Monument Park, a triangular shaped park being redeveloped in the heart of downtown.
