Replicas of the Nina and the Pinta will be in Grafton this weekend. The ships could be seen passing by the arch in St. Louis Thursday morning. They were travelling from a Kimmswick, MO.

The ships are on an educational mission. They travel all over the United States to show people what kind of vessels were used during the Age of Discovery. The Nina and Pinta are replicas of two of the three Spanish ships used by Italian explorer Christopher Columbus in his first voyage to the Americas in 1492. You can tour the Nina and the Pinta in Grafton from May 27th to June 5th from 9am to 6pm.
