Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano sent the United Nations an important message about climate change and the need to protect the future of our planet in a new video from the space station. Parmitano is one of six Expedition 61 crew members currently on the International Space Station. When asked which planet Parmitano would most like to explore as an astronaut, his answer was simple: Earth.
"From up here, the answer is clearer than ever," Parmitano said in a video from the European Space Agency. "There is absolutely no place like home." Parmitano launched to the space station for his second mission on July 20 and on Oct. 2, he took over as the first-ever Italian space station commander.
