An annual procession in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel was held Saturday morning throughout the streets of Rosebank. Members of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society and St. Joseph's R.C. Church gathered at 9 a.m. at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Grotto at 36 Amity St.
The procession is part of the Society's celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, which is celebrated July 16 on the liturgical calendar. It honors the Blessed Virgin Mary and remembers the special traditions that go back to the small towns of Italy.
