In 1967, Anthony and Grace LoSchiavo opened Antonio's Pizza at Chevrolet Boulevard and Stumph Road. The General Motors plant was running three shifts, and business was good. A large pepperoni pizza was only $3.40, and a meatball sandwich was $1.95. A plate of rigatoni and meatballs was $2.00, and spaghetti and meatballs was only $1.75.
Anthony and Grace's sons Fred, Joe and Tony and daughter Debbie soon joined the business, and by 1975, they had taken over an old drug store location at the corner of W. Ridgewood and Ridge Road in the Parmatown shopping plaza.
