Last night, Sergio Rossi hosted an intimate dinner in New York to celebrate the new sr1 collection. It was hosted by CEO Riccardo Sciutto and held at Lavagna, the East Village eatery offering traditional Italian trattoria fare, where well-heeled guests were given a taste of Italy.
Next to the menu lay a miniature lookbook cataloging an assortment of styles along with a red pencil so revelers could color in a heart next to the pair they’d most like to receive as a departing gift. “Wait, you actually get to pick something out?” we overheard one pleasantly surprised tablemate say while flipping through the various stretch nappa leather designs.
