Saturday September 8 from Noon to 6PM EDT - Downtown Patchogue. The 51st edition of the Patchogue Italian Feast of Saint Liberata will kick-off with the traditional parade of the statue and feature indoor and outdoor dining. The procession will begin at 12 p.m. in front of the Suffolk County District Court and the official ceremony will be held at 12:45 p.m. on the Four Corners.
Then stroll downtown Patchogue and view classic and Italian cars or stop by the lawn of the Teen Center at the Patchogue-Medford Carnegie Library to watch the annual bocce ball tournament. Participating restaurants (TBA) will feature the second annual "Vino in the Village Wine Walk." Some family-friendly festivities include children's karaoke, a magician, dunk tank, a jester, bouncy houses, and live entertainment by Think BIG Theater Arts.
Live music throughout the festival will be performed by: Giglio Italian Marching Band, John Sirianni and Killing Time, Nino - Songs of Sinatra and Friends, Carmelo Raccuglia, the Italian Singer, Tony Grant.
This year honors Lou Giordano as the 2018 Italian-American of the Year.
