Dave Anoia and Aimee DiAndrea Anoia, the husband-and-wife team behind DiAnoia’s Eatery restaurant in the Strip District, on Thursday are opening their third Pizzeria Davide location in the region at 221 2nd Ave. in downtown Carnegie. The restaurant specializes in "old world-style" pizzas, and each pie features a dough that has been made with Molino Pasini flour sourced from Northern Italy, which is then fermented for 72 hours.
“The concept was born at DiAnoia’s and took off from there,” Anoia said in a statement. “We take a lot of pride in the quality ingredients and technique we put into each pizza. My wife Aimee and I fell in love with the Carnegie neighborhood a few years ago and immediately envisioned ourselves opening a shop here. We can’t wait to be part of the community.”
