An analysis of current market trends reveals that Portofino, the exclusive Ligurian coastal town, holds the highest property values among Italy’s vacation destinations. For a medium-sized apartment, peak prices can reach an extraordinary €22,900 per square meter. In second place is Madonna di Campiglio in Trentino-Alto Adige at €14,000 per square meter, just slightly above Cortina d’Ampezzo in Veneto.
Following closely are Sestri Levante in Liguria (€13,700), Courmayeur in Valle d’Aosta and Corvara in Badia in Trentino-Alto Adige (both €13,000), and Capri in Campania (€12,000). International buyers account for a significant share of transactions in these high-end markets.
