"The Italian government is strongly determined to take again a position of leadership in Italy and Europe in this sector," Prime Minister Matteo Renzi said in a speech during his visit at the IBM center for the Watson project in Boston, where he arrived yesterday.
The prime minister signed an agreement to reuse some of the spaces and structures of Expo Milano 2015, in Rho, on the outskirts of Milan. The deal marks the creation of IBM's Watson Health European Center of Excellence, which will be dedicated to health and the management of a system of data related to health challenges: from controls and the update of medical records to the optimization of public healthcare spending; genetic experiments, research and the cure of cancer.
