Randolph Italian Ice & Gelato, LLC has opened at Five Rivers Market at 950 Chestnut Street. The restaurant celebrated its grand opening April 24. "We have been a mobile business for six years," said Devin Randolph, who owns the business with his wife, Nakisha. "We were presented an opportunity from the Shuler Group to open in the Five Rivers Market. It was a natural process and it just made sense."
Randolph said the couple also saw Orangeburg as an ideal place due to the fact that it "did not offer a true authentic Italian ice and gelatos." Randolph Italian Ice & Gelato has a number of gluten-free Italian ice flavors to include: blue raspberry, grape raspberry, cherry, lemon, lemon lime, chocolate, sour apple, rainbow, tie dye, watermelon, mango, pina colada, strawberry, strawberry-lemon, sweet tea, passion fruit, very berry cherry, Arnold Palmer, according to its website.
