For the 15 million Americans of Italian descent, October is special. It’s Italian Heritage Month and all over the commonwealth of Massachusetts there are over 100 scheduled events to celebrate Italian ancestry.
You don’t even have to be Italian to be welcomed into any one of the many events. If you have even tasted a single slice of pizza, you can claim to have some Italian in you, and that’s all that’s necessary. Now, really, if you come to any of the hundreds of events all over the state you may be Italian for the day but you will surely remain a friend for life.
