The 33rd annual Sacramento Italian Film Festival kicks off Friday, at the Sacramento Italian Center in Carmichael. Sponsored by the Italian Cultural Society of Sacramento, the series consists of six films that will be screened over the next nine months.
"I think the quality of the Italian film festival is very good," said Bob Masullo, film series coordinator of the Italian Film Festival. "It gives people the opportunity to hear the Italian language spoken properly and it is a very pleasant way to experience Italian culture."
