The St. Ann Club is set to host its annual festival this weekend in celebration of the feast of St. Ann with live entertainment, carnival rides, raffles and fresh Italian food. "The St. Ann Club is an Italian social club that helped immigrants when they came to the U.S. with housing, jobs, whatever they needed," said Pat Cutrone, chairman of the board and feast chairman.
Cutrone is a third generation member and has been for over 40 years; his grandfather was one of the club's founders. The St. Ann Club celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2014. The club raises money to provide scholarships for high school students, hosts a golf outing for local charities, as well as dinner dances, and volunteers at the Norwalk Seaport Association's annual Oyster Festival.
