It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our IABF family matriarch Saveria Gangone, the mother of IABF co-founder Carmine Gangone. A familiar face at our IABF dinners and meetings, Saveria welcomed us with a love that shined brightly from her beautiful smile.

Her voice bellowed above the crowd cheering and supporting as we were introduced. She was our rock, our shoulder to lean on and our biggest fan. Our Hearts are broken but our hearts also hold the memories of Saveria that we will cherish for eternity. 

Her family was her pride and joy, husband Gaetano Gangone, children Elena & Francesco Gagliardi, Carmine & Karen Gangone. Grandchildren Erica and Joseph Gagliardi, Carmine Jr. and Vincent Gangone. Sister Lucia D'Elia and her loving mother Raffaela Morena.
