The Schuyler County Italian American Festival is looking for new ideas and new volunteers. The festival, in its 36th year in 2015, has set this year's dates for Friday, July 31, and Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 1 and 2.
Louis Perazzini of Watkins Glen, 2015 committee president, said in a news release that the group is putting together a long list of new activities and attractions. "We want to enhance the ways we honor the community's Italian heritage," Perazzini said. Don Stocum of Hector will serve as 2015 festival chairman.
