
The Scalabrinian Provincial Superior, Fr. Angelo Plodari, has presented Fr. Sergio Dall’Agnese to his Eminence the Archbishop of Washington, as the new Pastor of Holy Rosary Parish as of September 1, 2021. Fr. Sergio Dall’Agnese is not new to the Washington DC Metropolitan area having served in Riverdale Park, MD from 2005 to 2014.
He was born in Guapore, RS, Brazil, on June 28, 1949. He was sent to complete his theological studies in North America {Toronto, ON, Canada and Staten Island, NY). He was ordained in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico, on June 23, 1979. Assigned to the Province of St. Charles B., he completed his first assignment in Puerto Rico and in 1980 was assigned to St. Augustine parish in the Archdiocese of Newark, NJ until 1982.
