
Saturday, August 13 | 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. DUVBO (Down Under the Veterans Bridge Overpass) | Smallman & 13th St.. The Seventh Annual Bocce Tournament & Festival is almost here!
This all-day outdoor event, organized by Jack Mascaro of Mascaro Construction Company, features live music by Pure Gold, the Nieds Hotel Band, and the Faiella's, and delicious Italian food and drinks by the Common Plea. Come down to the Strip District to watch more than 30 bocce teams duke it out to win a spot on the coveted Bocce Tournament Trophy. All proceeds from the event benefit the History Center's Italian American Program, which is dedicated to preserving the history and culture of Italian Americans in Western Pennsylvania.
Bocce courts will be set up on Waterfront Street under the Veterans Bridge overpass, adjacent to 13th Street. The Seventh Annual Bocce Tournament & Festival is free and open to the public, so come show your support for the History Center's Italian American Program!
