Now that the calendar has turned to August, final preparations are underway for the 51st annual Labor Day Italian Festival, held at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church in Scotch Plains during the weekend of Aug. 29 to Sept. 1.
The festival, co-sponsored by Scotch Plains-Fanwood UNICO, St. Bartholomew’s Church, and St. Bartholomew Academy, has brought thousands of visitors to the St. Bart’s grounds for over 50 years, and this year’s feast undoubtedly will keep that tradition going.
