
Salvatore Sciandra, 8, of Eltingville, who experienced what his family regards as a miracle cure, will be among the Staten Islanders making the trek into Lower Manhattan on Aug. 18 to honor the patron saint of the sick at the 124th Feast of St. Rocco.
"It's a real miracle," said Salvatore's grandmother, Louise Fioriello of Westerleigh, regarding her grandson's recovery.
