A Staten Island native sang her way to the stage of NBC’s “The Voice” this week, making a lasting impression with the judges. Marisa Corvo, a 33-year-old borough-bred singer who currently lives in Irvine, Calif., performed P!nk’s “Perfect” for the televised singing competition’s celebrity judges Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, John Legend and Gwen Stefani.
Throughout her performance, the judges exchanged glances from their socially distanced chairs and ultimately, Clarkson, Shelton and Stefani hit their buzzers to recruit Corvo to their respective teams.
